Great Plains supports the salaries of more than 30 teacher’ salaries across schools in communities in and around the Maasai Mara and Mbirikani Group Ranch. The schools educate children age 6 – 14 years old, key formative years for education. Increasing the numbers of teachers improves teacher -student ratios in the classroom, taking pressure off existing teachers and improving the quality of education for the next generation of leaders in their community.
